On June 11, 2024, the people of Casey, Illinois gathered together inside the World’s Largest Mailbox for a historic moment. The community sang, cheered and clapped along to the song “Casey Christmas.” That magical holiday spirit was forever captured on vinyl!!
The recording is available on the album titled “Yuletidin’ With You,” which is a collection of 12 songs written and produced by Nashville, Tennessee award winning songwriters.
A giant replica of the album cover is now a permanent part of Casey’s “Big Things in a Small Town” collection.
CASEY CHRISTMAS
VERSE
If you've never seen a snowflake rock in' a 50 foot chair
If you've never heard carols chime through the Illinois air
If candy candy main is a place your heart's not missin'
You've never seen a Casey Christmas
CHORUS
Casey Christmas - Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh
Casey Christmas - Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh
VERSE
If you've never seen a Jon Deere dressed in Christmas lights
As The crowd cheered on on a cold December night
If you've never felt so much warmth that you couldn't resist it
Then you've never had a Casey Christmas
CHORUS
Casey Christmas - Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh
Casey Christmas - Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh
VERSE
If you've never seen Santa reading to the kids below
From inside a giant mailbox in the snow
If homemade cocoa tasted less than delicious
Then you've never had a Casey Christmas
CHORUS
Casey Christmas - Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh
Casey Christmas - Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh
BRIDGE
It's big things in a small town
Big Love more than enough to go around
And around and around and around
